I have a race on Sunday and i want my quad to be set up perfect.
I weigh 135 pounds so i would like to know what would be the best setting for compression/rebound for my rear shock?
Thanx

i don't race but i'm looking for the perfect set up too. my suspension feels really bad and i weight only 5 pounds less that you so i would like to know too, but i'm sorry i can't help. i didn't even know where the rebound adjustment was! i do now though, i just need to know how to adjust it, and the compression. hopefully somebody can help us.

Well your best bet is to just mess with it and then Ride it. I know mine was close to me stock but I weigh a lot more then you 2. I think it is set for around a 160 pound rider stock so I dunno maybe the Comp. and Rebound need to go down on yours. How does it feel Stiff or Soft?

i don't even know,... it just feels pretty bad, i think the front is to stiff, but i don't know about the back. i'll just mess with everything.

Do you have the Stock Honda Manual? If you do set the Rear back to the stock shock settings and ride it. See how that feels. If it`s to stiff then soften the compression some. Still to stiff adjust more. Then you may need to bring the rebound down some also.

i sure hope so. i bought this thing about a month and a half ago from a guy who bought it from a friend. the guy i bought it from never rode it so he didn't mess with anything. but i don't know how much the guy who rode it b4 me wieghed but i'm guessing it's a lot more than me. and i'm now realizing how bad the setup is for me and i know it will take time but i think i can get it right soon. this is my first quad so i've never done this b4. you guys in this forum are great help!
