Ok, I need new tires for the beast. I know I want 22-11-9's in the rear to get my junk another inch away from the rocks, but should I go up to 23" on the front or stick with 22. I guess has anyone tried the 23" and hated them? Thanks.

I have 22 front and rear it works great. If you decide to go with 23 please post and let us know how it worked out.Just aheads up youll wana drop your front sprocket a tooth in the front to keep your gearing correct with putting 22 in the rear. What kinda tires you looking at?

I'll be doing that this winter. When I put my 22" All Trak's on I immediately noticed the *** end up higher but I'm used to it now. I know one thing, where I ride, I don't hit near the obstacles I used to.

As for rears, there will be plenty of Holeshot and Razr votes, I'm not saying they're wrong, but for general riding, my All Trak's have been nothing short of amazing from sand to hard pack. I've been very pleased.

holeshot hd rear holeshot gncc front or razr2 all the way around

i ride pretty rocky trails and when i go back with tires i think im gonna go with a 20" rear and 21" front really handles the corners alot better that way

Well I'm really looking at the Razor 2's, but If I could find a tire that my local Discount tire or Les Schwab carries then they'll match the internet price and mount them for free. Les Schwab doesn't carry Maxxis. I don't know about discount.

Who makes all tracs?

Dudes : I been thinking about this for a while .

I am also considering going up to 22 rear .
We all know a t-rex is the wheelie king slut .

Would running 22 rear and 21 front be completely goofy , or would it perhaps help prevent the nose going skyward at all ?

I know it might look crazy - dragster style , but I havent done it yet , I would like to slip 22's on the rear , and i JUST bought spanking new Razr2 21" , so Im figuring that if i put on the 22's , as long as its ok with me , I should get by for a while ??

Guys ?

your frontend will just be lower i wouldnt think it would keep the front end down though

I rode with 22's on the rear for awhile, and I am glad I now have the 20's back on it. I ride with ute's and I go anywhere they go with the exception of the obvious, not having 4wd. 20 inch Holeshot HD's, thats where its at. However, as for the fronts I run the 22's and I am pleased with the clearance and the handling of the XCT's. No experience, and didn't even know they made 23's

Probaby didn't help one bit.

i have 23 holeshots on the front of mine and 22 in the rear and i love the way it rides and handles.it may be a little tippier in the corners but if you can ride there should be no problems .i ride mostly in the woods and mountains of PA and with all the rocks and stumps this is the setup that works for me best.

after sitting around trying to decide for the longest time, i ended up getting 20 inch klaws for the rear and 22 inch klaws for the front. overall, i love them. they seem to work great on all terrains. i bought my 400 with shredders front and back and all i can say is CRAPPY. anyway, i think the weight and price of the klaws make them worth looking at.

Maxxis makes the All Trak's.

As was mentioned earlier, they are 2 ply but I haven't had a problem yet with punctures. I even have a set on my 500 4wd. I have about 1,000 miles on them on it and I'm amazed at the little wear they show. While not a mud tire, they go farther than my stockers did but I use the 500 around the farm, not for play.

The All Trak's were what all the 4wd racers run and many still do, until there were more options out there.

I meant to mention in my first post, I'd prefer a 20" but the All Traks don't come in anything smaller than a 22. Also, the lugs are deep on the All Trak's, about an inch. I'm extremely pleased with my purchases.

I like 23 front and 22 rear razr 2s for the type of riding i do.but it all depends on the type of rider you are and where you ride

Oh come on, you could have gotten a little closer to the edge than that.

I'll have to find some Moab pics to post up. Looks similar.

Yea, that set up looks good. That's what I'll be going with. Here a couple pics of stuff I ride.

wow- those are mean tyres!!

very nice !!:huh .

True - depends on what type of riding you do before you pick tyre size .
Looking at you rpic - I dont think that set-up would do me any good riding some days trail , some days mx , then enduro .

enduro and Long trail - most definitely .
