Big Gun to HMF

I have not posted in forever but i had a question....i just bought a 1999 400ex with a big gun full system what i would like to do is put an HMF on it. my question is since the big gun is a full system can i use the head pipe from that and buy an HMF slip on? would this working being a big gun head pipe and an HMF slip on?

not sure about the fit like that but i have gone from a big gun full system the the hmf full on a 400ex
im not sure if that will work because the hmf slip on is designed to fit the factory head pipe and i know my big gun headpipe was quite a bit bigger than the stocker...prob didnt help any but i hope it did

youll like the hmf...especially if u get a full system i loved mine

no the head pipe wont match up, i tried it with my hmf slip-on and ended up having to go to the big gun full system... it sucks, but its not the right length...
