This was one of the most nail biting games ive ever seen. Even if your not a fan of either team you missed an amazing game. GO CARDINALS, GOOD LUCK AT THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!

That was a great game. That was a pretty lucky catch buy the mets. It should have went over.

I missed the end of the game because I had to tow my buddies truck to his house because his rear end went out:o . Good thing for Sportscenter.

im a die hard mets fan and was stunned to see it end. when you have a local team doing so well, you expect them to go all the way and when they dont, ill admit, its almost kind of sad haha.

the cards played a great series though, congrats to them and you guys.

good game i love the cards but man the tigers have a lot of firepower and a good pitching game as well....i hope pujols and rolen bomb some...detroits long rest might work against them too

i watched the game and the whole series, and am a die hard cardinals fan here in nj.(stupid Phillies didn't win squat.lol)and i hated when chavez robbed rolen's only hr that he'll probably hit in the whole postseason due to his shoulder.i hope him and larussa start talking so they don't hurt their chance of winning the world series especially with the tiger's awesome pitching.i just hope that pujols starts hitting some homeruns but only if they pitch to him.GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and good luck in the world series.

Whooo hoooo!!! CARDS WIN Game 1!!!!! BIG TIME!!

I love being the underdog, I was getting so sick of all the talk about the Tigers sweeping easily.

And what was up with the quiet tiger fans right from the start, that place should've been rocking the 1st few innings. All I heard where crickets.
