I was thinking I was gonna paint my clutch cover, But I was thinking that if it is aluminum, I would polish it...Is it? lol. If Stripped the paint off, could I make shine nice?

yeah you can turn it into a mirror.

the guy on ebay is polishing and selling all the stock 450r stuff.

shifter/kickstart/levers/covers

I was waiting to see if he had the time to polish the cam cover.

if your not afraid of a little work........

you can buy the polish kit,
or go to wal-mart and get some rub compound and some wax
for less than 50 bucks.

an old pair of socks and a tub of mothers will do wonders on unpainted aluminum. and if you leave your grab bar, bumper, levers, shifter, kicker (if you have one) it dont take long at all.

it takes a little rubbing from time to time to keep it looking chrome

I thought the cover was magnesum. I've seen them polished, so if it is you can polish magnesium? I dunno

if you polish magnisium , it will turn a nasty color the first time it is exposed to moisture.
