i have a '92 quadracer lt-250r that i am selling, the fenders had a crack in the rear fender and a crack in the front fender. i sanded the fenders down with 400grit sandpaper to smooth out some of the scratches in 14 year old fenders. to fix the cracks, the previous owner drilled holes on both sides of the crack and used zip ties to hold it together. this method does work but will still leave the fenders a little weak at the point of the crack. i put a plastic epoxy in the middle of the crack and then used new zip ties. i then applied epoxy over the zip ties and the entire crack itself on both sides of the fenders. this would allow the paint to cover up the zip ties and just look a hell of a lot better than a crack with stitches in it. i used krylon fusion sunbeam yellow paint over the entire fenders and it looks good and is holding up pretty good so far.
