yeah, yeah.
I know I bought a really crappy loud pipe, but its just till around spring time.
anyway my late year 05's drive train is stone stock other than dropping one tooth on the front sproket.
what jet should I look into getting to start with, also I hate how hard the bike is to keep running intill it warms up, what size pilot jet should I go to to help with this.
thanks

i think a 142 pilot would help u out on the idle but i dunno what main jet you would need for that pipe, im no jetting expert...

A 42 piliot will help starting cold.As far as main start with about a 165 and do a plug check. Here are a couple links for carb stuff http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=221742 http://www.hmfengineering.com/forums/showthread.php?t=497
Hope this helps.

Take it off the bike youll need to put a .032 shim under the needle jet on the 05 or get a dyno jet kit and set the needle jet in the kit at the 3rd notch. The 05 dosent have adjustable needle so a .032 shim under it will work Ive done it both ways either works.

what type of main jet do I need to order for my 05?
I just put the cobra pipe on and now I need to order my jets.
I am ordering a type 21, #42 pilot jet and a 155 main jet once I figure out what type I need

one last question, will switching from the stock air filter to a uni 2 stage flow enough air to need to move up a jet size?

Probley not I put a UNI on mine and never had to touch the jets.Just do a plug check after you get it all togther and run it.
