Alright, I need help. I have a sony flatscreen LCD monitor on a sony vaio PC, and it starts up, displays that opening windows logo, and then goes blank when it gets to the welcome screen. It displays a box titled "I INFORMATION" saying "Out of Scan Range 75.0KHZ/ 60 Hz" and I can't get it to go to the log on screen. It just goes black. I've tuned it of/on numerous times but it just goes black when its time to log on. Help me, PLEASE!

Hmmmm.... you need to boot into safe mode with the standard 640x480 settings and adjust your video card settings. It appears that either your refresh rate or resolution is out of wack and not supported by your monitor.

If I remember right, you hold F5 or F8 during the Windows boot up to get your menu that will allow "safe mode".
