was your quad running when you took it apart? did you just adjust the valves and put the cams back in on a running quad? I had an exhaust cam that was a little tight when i put it back together after a bad head failure and unless everything is surgically clean and lubed they will be tight.

I had the same problem with both of my cams. You need to adjust the shims for it to turn. My were all out of wack. Hope this helps.

of course its not going to turn all the way full 360 with the valves in but i think just in general turning it back and forth before it tries to lift open the valve. I would take it to the machine shop see if the can help you out. Its been so long but i think the plastigauge clearences assembled are like .1 or .2 its a really close tolerance
