450R axle

will a stock 450r axle work on a 400ex with the ex carrier and bearings. Also will the spocket on the 450r axle line right on the ex.

it will fit but the 450r carrier is wider and the axle will slide side to side in the carrier and grind into your sprocket hub... you can feel major lag on your motor because the chain isnt 100% straight, so dont do it... i did it and am now trying to sell the 450r axle and get a new 400ex one

i run a 450r carrier with my ex axle and it works fine don't see much point in another stock 450r axle it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference
