A group of trail riders is organizing an association to work with the Forest Service to mark trails, clean up camping sites, and maintain some old trails in the Wildomar OHV area of southern California.
Wildomar OHV is a small OHV park off the Ortega Highway south of Lake Elsinore. This group of volunteers has met and held discussions with the Cleveland National Forest on ways to improve the riding opportunities. Ranger John Mavrolas, an avid bike rider, has developed some erosion control methods that will be used to halt erosion on trails in the area.
Tuesday, September 10th will be the third meeting of the group.
Ranger Mavrolas will be there to discuss the potential projects and opportunities. The meeting is open to everyone and will be held at the El Cariso Firestation on the Ortega Highway, Tuesday, September 10th at 6 PM.
