What Does Putting A 89 250r Clutch Into A 1986 R Do For You? I Have Seen This Before But I Am Wondering What Is Wrong With The 1986 One. Thanks

What they are talking about is the clutch update kit. That is a new push rod, pressure plate, flat washer and bearing for the end of the rod. The kit is about $60 to 70. Someone about a week or more posted the honda part #.

in your clutch rod there is a little ball, that can wear out easier than the 89 setup will. The 89 has a roller bearing on the end instead of a steel ball which is better, it won't wear out as quickly. You can get the update from Nacs racing which is 60 bucks. Good luck.
