02 660 Bored To 880 ?

Hey all, was looking at a 02 660 for sale that was bored to a 880.
Is this gonna give me alot of engine problems and become very unreliable. Has anyone done this to their Raptor.

You can't bore it out to an 880. The largest 660-based engine I'm aware of is a 760 and that's with a 105mm bore and a 6mil stroker crank. If someone is telling you they've got an 880 for sale, they're lying...

never heard of an 880 thats for sure, sounds shady to me. where did you find the engine?

I got the reply to what i asked.. my question was something like: "How did you get that to an 880 , sounds alittle shady to me unless you replaced the head, let me know"

then he replies...

I sent him an email. An 880 isnt even possible. It wouldnt last 5 minutes without blowin a hole through the side. That kind of stuff pisses me off because the people out there that dont know anything about quads get suckered into that kind of stuff. :grr: Someone should tell him he is the Laughing stock of an ATV forum website.

Funny, i left a buyer beware question on there and once again he answers with sarcasm.. so i reported the item because I have nothing better to do, he knows its not 880, ppl like this piss me off because they are taking advantage of the common idiots out there who know nothing better..
