Free CRF 04 Cam

I have a chance to get a 04 CRF cam from a friend for free, just wondering from some one in the know, if this cam would be worth switching out. MY 06 trx has good power,but I just got off a CRF 450 so alittle more would be nice. I was thinking put this cam in do the green wire mod, and an exaust and I should be good.....:D If not I will save up for another cam. But free is nice P S.... The cam has maybe 3-4 hours on it. Thanks for your help.:)

I have an 04 crf cam in my 04, and i like it, but your motor is going to respond to the cam differently since you have the 04 motor.

Talk to Chad502ex cuz he's measured up the 04 crf for me and he'll most likely know whether it will help you at all.

He is selling the bike with a stage 2 hot cam in it and said I could have the stock one . I don,t race but am a power hungery honda guy, that loves to hill climb.:D :D So I hope this cam does the trick. I will put it in myself if I here good news on this cam.:)

Just so you know, if you were to buy th HRC kit for your 06, the cam that comes with it is the 04-06 CRF cam. So you are basically getting the 06 HRC cam for free, I would say do it.

There are many companies out there that when you buy "their" Cam.

You are bying the exact cam you are getting for free. So RUN IT.
