WANT: Quad, under $2,000

PLEASE DON'T BOTHER IF YOUR PRICE IS OVER $2,000. I'm actually trying to stay around $1000, but if an unbelievable deal comes my way, I HAVE CASH READY.

I'M IN SAN DIEGO,CA. I can possibly get something from Orlando, FL area too, as my parents are truckers from there and can bring it out to me.

My mind is open to different types, but I prefer a "bulletproof" 4stroke, and I know Honda's have always had great reputations. Listed below are my immediate choices:

Honda 250x or 300ex
Suzuki lt250
Yamaha Blaster (2002 or older)

Looks nice, but they rarely make it out that way. They do mainly FL-CA trips. Plus, it'd be too much of a hassle. I already asked about them picking up in other parts of the country...

The more I think about it, I want to stay VERY cheap, because I'd rather focus most of my money on a [crf250x] dirtbike. I think a $1,000ish, 4stroke, quad would be perfect for what I'm looking for.

So I guess I've leaned towards an older quad, most likely a 250x.
