i cant get my swingarm bolt out 400ex

im trying to get my motor out of my 400ex and cant get the swingarm bolt out. it spins and wont come out. can i cut it out between the case and the frame. or do i need a puller.

Try gently tapping it out with a hammer or mallet of some kind, make sure that the frame is supported though, because once that bolt goes the frame falls.

When I remove mine I take the nut off, use a rubber mallet and pound it in, the I go around to the other side and pull the bolt out while supporting the swing arm.

need a bigger hammer, everything in life can be fixed with a bigger hammer, duct tape, or WD40:D

i even tryed a 10lb sledge hammer and it still didnt come out.

be veddy keerful not to tweek the swing gussets on the opposite side from the latteral pounding of the bolt. :confused:

thanks everyone for the help. i got it out. i heated the end with the nut and put water on it a few times. and hit it with a hammer and it came out. thanks all
