Removing Key...HELP!

Hey is there any way the remove the key assembly from the plastic trim peice without destroying it??

yes, unplug the key (trace the wire back and actually disconnect the wires) then theres a little tab that holds the actual key housing in place. just squeeze the tab and push the whole thing (wire and all) right out through the hole.
