most sponsorship agreements say that you cant tell. besides, i'd take 1 percent, anything is better than retail

Ya but you can only get the discount if you buy the part directly from the company, not from a dealer of them. And the company is usually way over priced compared to what the dealer is asking for it. Usually you can find better prices on the stuff even if you have 5-30% off. Ya herd.

For one, anything under 40% isn't worth it?

Secondly, sounds to me like some people could give a ***** about SUPPORTING their sponsors, and do it purely because they can get good deals.

Do you guys go out of your way to support your sponsors the way you should. The way you should for them saving you LOTS of money.

I know if they were giving me a 1% discount from a company I wouldn't represent then real good.

OK 40% was an exagderation. But 80% of the people that are sponsored by someone do not represnt them the way the contract says. Some people just get sponsors to say they have them even when its only 5% off.

And isnt the point of getting a sponsor is so you can get good deals?

very true

i know i try to support my sponsor's the best i can, from stickers on the quad, to givin the announcer my sponsor list, if you get the hoelshot or w/e they well say yoru name and say your sponsor's.

sure its about the deal,s but thats what their there for, any backing you can get is somewhat helpful

At least your trying. Even if you get some of the smallest sponsors out their, they will recognize you and your name will be seen more; therefore leading to possibly bigger sponsors in the near-future. I know i'd take a sponsorship even if I didn't get a discount on their items, just to get my name out their.

the only sponsors that ever did me any good were local shops, houser racing, and ASV. i think sponsor house is a waist of time because u can get just about the same deals from dealers or other places. sure if u can get a 50% or more discount then thats a different story but i beleive the local shops r the biggest help in sponsorship.

congrats on your new sponsors.
