Winters almost here, I love snow riding one the quad, anyone else here really like riding in the winter

I love riding in the snow, i was surprised how good my bike actually was in the snow then when it gets to deep i just take out the snowmobile

It's been a few years since we've got alot. Its great b/c everything shuts down, we get the quads out, and raise hell

i dunno about down in london but up here we get jack Sh-t for snow, all we get is muck, and COLD, COLD, COLD

In Indiana our fall and winter are considered riding season lol. Ok well we ride year around but fall and winter is when we really ride hard. Gotta love the white stuff.

It snows good here lol, were closer to the lake, we get all the lake effect snow with the prevailing winds pushing all the storms at us:D

Its great b/c everything shuts down, we get the quads out, and raise hell hell yeah man thats how it is here too. im looking forward to winter big time. as soon as the roads get snowed over and people start to stay off them in cars, the quads and sleds come out and rule the town. last year we rode around the streets for hours and i heard the sleds out ripping around all the way until 2-3am. me and my boys even stopped at a restaurant for dinner and all. should definitly be fun, hopefully we get some nice storms.

we get way too much snow where i am to ride quad in the winter. i live for winter tho. i live about a mile from the local ski resort that i work at. i'm there every day if i'm not workin i'm skiing. I'm gonna miss it this year tho. i went to school locally for the past 2 years but now i'm about 4 hours away and there's no local mountains. Altho vermont and Whiteface are a whole lot closer than they used to be :D :D

Recent winters in Iowa have been rather "mild". As mild as winter get but, nonetheless, we don't see very many days below freezing during the day. So, if there isn't any powder on the ground and it is above 32 degrees....this boy is riding.

they dont plow my road and its a dead end conected to like 4 other dead ends then a main road so i can do uquite a bit of road riding an dno one cares, especialy if u help people get there cars unstuck. but this year i have some sleds so its going to be awsome, i live in nh and if it is declared a state of emergencey for alot of snowits legal to ride around the state on you quad and snowmobile to save ppl, or to get food or somethign that is need fo survival, can someone tell me if its true or not

i dont live in nj but i have talked to a few snow riders from there and it seems to be similiar to how it is here. if you are out cruising around the snow covered streets, minding your own business and being somewhat smart(try to opey most traffic laws, dont ride wreckless and dangerously, try not to rip around residential areas at night,etc) MOST cops will not give you a problem. ive been riding the streets every winter for the past 3 years and havnt had a problem yet. i like to wait for the roads to have a good amount of snow on them so most cars are off, and when i come across a cop, give them a nice wave and proceed like its nothing. my town here on long island has its own police force and they are out in full force during snow storms in their pickups and suvs. i usually pass 3-4 cops a storm and have never had one try to chase me. half of the police force are snowmobilers anyway.

theres always the chance that you get a cop having a bad night that will try to give you trouble, but honestly, the chance of him even coming close to keeping up with you on a quad is slim.
