hi well i got HD head studs put in and a 11:1 comp piston wut should i torque the head nuts to. i remember someone saying that ya had to torque them more b/c of the higher compression.

i would torque them to factory specs unless the company with the studs tells you otherwise.

FDO Racing told me between 32-36 ft/lbs.

i think stock is around 33-34 depending on what manual you use so that is right in the ball park.

torquing them to stock spec is one of the reasons people are blowing head gaskets on 400ex with high compression pistons. It is crucial that you use a quality steel head gasket and torque the cylinder head to 38 ft lbs.
