How to?? Crf FCR carb mod to fit TRX

Whats up guys. Anyone taken a CRF450 FCR carb and modded it to fit their TRX450? If so what did you do or what did you HAVE to do to make this work? Im not spending like $900 from Baldwin.. If he can do it, we can do it. Thanks in advance fellas!

All you really need is a NOSS adapter to make it fit the 04/05 boot.

Im getting ready to replace mine with a FCR aswell.

Where can you get a NOSS adapter and what about the TPS sensor? Any re-wiring needed? Throttle cable changes?

Or you could buy the 06 airbox and boot. Then you can use the bigger 06 filter.

when I sell my taper bore carbs, I use a crf FCR carb, taper bore the carb to 43mm using DASA billet center ring (when he sells them), NOSS adapter machined with carb,..

The TPS would have to be re-wired slightly...

True, I've seen interesting results with this setup...

my signature validates the use of the 06 on a 04 engine with FCR...
