Okay I dont know if this is where I should post this but I have a question I need answered asap... I have a mini quad and I had to do some work to the gearbox and well so now its dry, what kind of oil would you guys put into this thing? maybe like rear end oil for a car? or what I really dont know. I would guess something thick, maybe heck I dont know.... its a chinia made 4 wheeler and the gearbox has nutral reverse (witch doesnt work and after getting all the broken teeth out i know why) and it has forward..

Thanks

i use amsoil in all my stuff. you can get it at amsoil.com and there should be a chart on there somewhere to show you what you need for your quad

so what weight is good? 80w90 or so? I dont need nothing fancy, I didnt find a site that sells that bel-ray but from a few posts everyone says it cost alot... i looked on my local Advaced auto site they have bunch of gear oil 80w90 and around that for around $5.00

i doubt its a 80 or 90w, i know my blaster calls for normal 10w30 in the tranny

belray is a light weight, even though it says like 80w on the bottle. it looks more like auto tranny fluid than anything. you can get it at any local ATV shop or dealer.
