rebuild rear shock and link only???

Can any body recomend weather or not it's a good idea to rebuild the rear shock with a link with out having the fronts done? And does the link fit with a skid plate? It's an 04, all trail riding no racing.

the rear does need the most work and the fronts are pretty good. i think you should do just fine with only a rear rebuild but you should consider doing the fronts in the future. as far as clearence goes i dont know if it will hit or not.

i had to cut my stock skidplate to get it to work with me gtthunder rear XC link. it was easy but if you wanted to have a metal skidplate you would have to cut the skidplate or use spacers to get it to work :ermm:
