Has anyone bought those cheap quads at Pep Boys or Checker Auto parts?
I was wondering if they were halfway decent. I thought maybe I could spend a couple hundred dollars so if a guest wants to go ride with us they could. No sense in buying another High Dollar Atv that will only get used once in a while. But at least maybe someone would say "Hey, better than nothing!"
I have no idea what brand they are....

well you get what you pay for!!!!!!! You are going to have to fork out the money one way or another, therefore you choose your posion. Here is a pic of my son's quad! I have several hundred dollars invested in it.

I didn't really understand your reply. Is your son's bike a no-name brand and it has cost you a ton of money in repairs? If so, that's what I want to avoid.
thanks for the reply.

I would stay away from pep boys checker etc etc quads. They have no after sale support & have no parts in stock for them, we help alot of pep boys customers with parts. Contact us if you want a good no name quad & be able to get parts for it right thru us as well. www.kidatvs.com or call us at 866-543-7823

Thanks, Jim

I have several hundred dollars in aftermarket parts repairing things that broke! My son is a bit rough on the quad but what 6 yr old isn't? I decided to buy a kazuma mini falcon 90 over a more expensive bikes (honda, eton, suzuki, etc) strictly on price. I gave right at $750 from lightening motorsports in houston tx. For a more extensive write up on repairs, refer to Kazuma/redcat on the mini forum! I might add that Kazuma seems to be one of the better built china made bikes!
