How is a +4 going to handle in the dunes? Is a +1 or -1 better for handling? This is for a crf450 hybrid.

Thanks,

Glamis

The longer the swinger the better it handles in a strait line. Sucks to turn though.

The shorter the Swinger the easier it turns.

A +* swingarm will move your center of gravity forward.

So, the farther you extend the swingarm, the less traction it will get, and the more weight will be on the front end, causing the front end to stick.

That doesn't mean you should extend it as much as possible, there’s a fine line between good and bad handling with extended swingarms

I'd personally go with a +1 because I do vast amounts of riding types, but it all depends on the bike, all the riding types YOU will do, and your riding style.

I would recommend riding the bike in whatever form it's currently in, then go from there as to what swingarm to get.
