View Full Version : Link or no link swing arm?

What are the pros and cons to a no link set up vs. a regular swingarm set up? I only ride dunes ....no MX or racing.

linkages are much better unless you are doing 1 very specific type of riding. a linkage rear can be sut up for a much wider range of obstacles than a no link

I read all of that and have no idea what either one looks like. Can you post a pic so I can understand?

i dont have any pics, but i assume you have a 400ex, 450r, yfz, ltz or raptor like everyone else. go look at it and you will see a piee of metal that is attached to the rear of the frame and also to the shock. that is a linkage. a no link would be like a blaster, or predator rear where the shocks mounts directly to the swingarm

No, I have a TRX250EX. I will look at it and see how it is set up. I have not yet ridden it. It's waiting for Christmas in the garage.
