We went out to Clay PeakMX Park on Sat. for Troy and the kids to get some training time in before 2007 WORCS season. I had planned on riding myself, but I was fighting the Flu all day and lost the battle last night :(
I still had fun watching the guys/gals ride. My Daughter took a freind along and I let the girls share my quad. I think my Daughter will take over mine if I still have it in a few more years, shes growing pretty fond of it these days!

To our surprise, wearing the number #2 plate Pro Rider WORCS rider Brandon Brown and the Boyz from Rekluse were out to play to get a few things dialed in before Pismo. My oleman wanted to run some hot laps with him, but it was so darned Dusty you couldnt follow too close behind anyone. lol
The track was a mess, hasnt been groomed since the Bikes raced there WORCS race on it, but the jumps had more of a lip and the main course had a small amt. of changes done to it . Its a great training track
My Son snapped off a nerfateh weld/frame Im going to have to buy another Framethis time I think :(. Its had its abuse and now its time for a new one . Its simply just tired..Kelsey will HAVE to run some of the WORCS on her mini, she wont have her Blaster ready in time and she hasnt got enough seat time on it to race yet.The minis I SWEAR nickel and dime us to death. I was sooo hopi9ng it would be ready ,but thre minis parts keep the pocketbook dry lol

Brandon, it was nice meeting you we had a great day riding. I need some Oregon racers intereviews,so get me some info soon!
Heres a few pics I shot, Ill post a link to all of them. The dust played havoc with my lense so some were good, some were not so good . lol

enjoy!

its the GAY guy!!!!

lmao no no i'm just messin around

pics looks great!! i would love to run a WORCS race when i visit cali. Gncc is just too tight for a mx quad. can you run a mx set up (change tires) in those, it looks like a mix of desert and mx.

hey quadjunkies I was wondering since you have been to many of the WORCS races, is it required to have your name and or number on the back of your chest protector??? I Just wanted to make sure I had everything before the race next weekend. BTW you take very good pictures, and I think my favorite is the one of your husband going around that turn making all that dust!!

Thanks again, Josh

It is required to have a number, you do have to of course get those threw WORCS,if you decide to do the whole series for next season, I would order early and also buy your transponder :)

Ill be shooting ALOT of pics next season. stop by and say hello.;)

GAY??? I dont that ....

You can... But I wouldnt go more than a +2 set up.There are a couple tracks that are tight, but you can get by with a MX set up.You will want 20's on the back as well.

Josh

I wanted to make next weeks round more than any of them. But tehre is no local riders heading out sincethey arent competing for points, so I dont hava ride out. My Husband told me I should just drive out, but that would be spendy with Cost for a room as well for 4 days.
Have fun!

i totally understand. I mean rooms around the coast area are 100 bucks or more and then gas is crazy. Then theres always the chance of something happening when you dont travel with someone. Hopefully youll be able to make it next year!!

this section(the steep moutain climb) is no longer part of the MX portion of the track. Too bad too cause theqwuads LOVED that ! I guess it was too hard to get up to maintain
