you could prolly call ur local honda dealer, they should know. if you can't find one, you can always jack up the quad and use a hammer and screwdriver:D

if i'm not mistaken, the spanner wrench that comes with some polaris quad's toolbox works great. might check it out if you've got any riding buddies with polaris'.

What exactly is this tool? I went to ace and asked for a spanner wrench and they were all confused. Then they said o here it is and gave me a vice grip. im starting to think everyone in my town is completely retarded. Is there maybe another name for it?

If I understand you correctly. This is the wrench you are looking for. Motion pro sells them for $15.50. If you go in asking for a spanner wrench, then yes, they will look at you like you're an idilot. Motion pro calls it a shock wrench. I'm sure you could get other wrenches that would do the same thing. I seem to remember seeing one that was adjustable once, can't remember where I saw it though.

I believe it will fit both the front and back. But I don't have one, I haven't had to change my shock settings yet. When I do I might just use a large set of channel locks with a rag, or I might get one of the adjustable ones if I can find it. But you could just call Motion Pro, or email them. Their web site has both their email and phone number. I'm sure they can give you all the details about their tools.

As for why the dealers don't have the tools. I am of the opinion that the dealers don't want you to work on your own ATV, so they don't sell the tools you need. Dealers suck.

Go to the snap on tool site they sell them. But they are not cheap. They also have several different sizes. Unfortunatly I don't know what size you will need either. Talk to a dealer.
