400EX elka on 450r!?!?

I got a quick question for you, would a REAR Elka dualrate w/ remote rezzie be able to fit on a 06 R?

I believe it will fit, but the 400ex Elka is a little longer I was told. And just because it is set up for whatever weight on a 400 doesn't mean that it will do right on a 450, it will more than likely need revalving.
