The biggest thing is the Je 14:1 piston and the exhaust, it cost me $750.00 for just that but it will be worth it!

Small thigs like gearing changes Taking off weight were ever i can and 110 octane race fuel.($5 bucks a gallon now)

thanks

I Dont know the exact amount but the cherry bomb gave it from7-8hp.The exhaust gave it 10hp and the piston is why i dont know how much hp it has.

Every body gets pissed off if i say how much it had with just the pipe and cherry bomb so i will let you look it up.

47 hp stock+cherry bomb7-8hp+10hp for the over sized drag pipe+piston(???)=_______

With those numbers, that would take you to over 64 HP, I think you are getting mixed up. The 7 HP for the C/B is also including an opened up exhaust, you dont get too add another 10 for the pipe. In my best guess, you are in the neighborhood of 53ish HP with the piston.

Here are REAL #'S for you. This is a stage 3 Yoshi RACE preped motor which has a LOT more work to it than you do.

The pipe on its own gives 10 hp !

You calling me stupid talk about those guys with the dasa pipe saying they get 12 hp just from the pipe!

Is your pipe a 1 off special drag pipe from Rossier, or is it their LTR pipe. I am looking at their site right now and here is what they are claiming-

Suzuki's newly redesigned sport quad has a more powerful engine, a true 49 inch width and is ready to race motocross - it just needs a little power asist from Rossier Engineering. Add our new pipe, remove the airbox lid and plug in a Cherry Bomb and you've got 10 extra HP. Okay, NOW go race...

They are claiming 10 Hp combined WITH the C/B.

Oversized drag pipe....dude your such a moron. I looked at your pic in the st joes site. Its the normal rossier pipe. Are you trying to sound even stupider or does it come normally? If im wrong then please prove it to me. Im going by what i see here.

Heres your "oversized drag pipe"

Why can't you get that kind of power on a 400ex with little mods like that!?!?

LOL Another funny thread....maybe you should go to the nationals...i'm 100% positive that ANY of the pro's would like to have all the hp your making. Just open your eyes to see....your making the normal amount of horsepower for a LTR with the mods you have....that's nothing to be ashamed of, but to say your making 64hp...is a little rediculous.

Also stock hp isn't 47 with the pipe plugged, and no CB. I beleive it is closer to mid to upper 30's?

I'd say with pipe, CB, and HC piston you're in the 50ish range. But probably losing some power if you're not using a PIM, or PowerCommander to remap.

That's still not bad at all. It used to take a LOT of work to get the 450's to hit the 50hp mark.

Ok here is a base line for HP that I know is reliable. I have my MSO for my quad from Suzuki still.

If you take off the air box and uncork the exhuast you will have 40.5 HP, No Cherry bomb, PIM, Power commander, nothing. That is what the LTR has for HP from the factory if you take those 2 items off.

Add the Cherry bomb, it's going to be 3 to 4 HP (all depends on the dyno run I guess)

Hardone, before you make these claims of huge HP, think before posting. You can try taking what you say back but it's not going to happen now. If you're able, back up your claims with Dyno runs. Until then, don't make claims you can't back up. We'll all just doubt you and think you're flapping your trap.

Hey Im new to the site, I bought a LTR450 yesterday, I cant get it until sometime next week, they are waiting on the parts from fuelatv... I will have a DASA full system, DASA head work, DASA/Web cams, ModQuad Intake, An Custom Mapped PowerCommander, with all these mods I will have around 58 or 59 HP, after I get some hours on it I will be putting in A 14:1 piston running 110 race fuel, this will bump the LTR450 up to around 65 HP, Fuels LTR has basically the same setup making 65HP... Sorry hardone ur bike isnt close to this power...
