i just picked up a atc 200x and it has no 2nd or 3rd gear. if i put a new clutch in will this solve the problem? also any1 no how much for the clutch, and how fast are they? thanxs

Nope,a new clutch probably wont fix your problem.The 87 was the best year for the 200x.But earlier ones ran pretty good as well.I think the 87 had a 6sp tranny too,i could be wrong though its been a while.Were they fast?that depends,back then not bad,now there have been faster atvs made since.:D

86/87 had 6 speed tranny, 83-85 had 5 speed. I have a 86 200x, I love it. Its does move quite fast and handles good.
