how good are the stock rebuilds for non-racers ?
I drag race, play on the mx track, and woods (2 times a year dunes) I wish I lived closer to some sand.
for what I do can I justify the gt thunders ?
I went from stock 1987 shocks on my 250r to the stock shocks on my 06 450r , I think the stockers are great but maybe I dont have much to compair to.

For me the Gt Thunder rebuild was well worth it. I could ride faster longer. It was a day and night difference on the trails.

oh laz can set you up for a recreational rider. you don't have to be mx or xc racer to get benefits from his shocks. i noticed the front end being quite a bit more plush with his shocks compared to the stock ones.

Laz will do what is best for you, and they are a huge improvement over stock. It's all about being comfortable when riding and stock rebuilds are the cheapest route to do so. I have mine and they are great!
