Came home from college for the weekend to ride. My buddy has a z400 and it wasnt running right so i tore into the carb. It is stock + a jet kit (dumb move) that he put in. He has a 160 in it and that seemed way too high (plus a black plug, and it had no power) so i dropped it down to a 148, which i though was stock...is it? Also, it is back to having power again, but when i yanked the plug, the outer shell was a nice brown color, but the piece that creates the gap between the electrode was white. Any ideas?

Also anyone know the adjustments for air, and whatever else is down there (and what they look like!!)

Really wish he bought a manual....thanks and hurry we want to ride in about 30 mintues!!!!

The adjustment for the screw is down near the bowl, straight up, and down. Most have a brass plug over em, so maybe he didnt fool with that, unless he drilled thru the cap, to get to the screw.
