Is aftermarket better or is stock just as good?

you can get a motion pro cable for like $12.

i would go with the stock one. my buddy and a few others have had the motion pros and most agree they are not as good as stock. i would probably just get it from service honda or something along those lines.

OK great,, the motion pro is what I was looking at. I'll get the stock or look at lubing mine first..

stock honda 250x cable, so u can run it down the frame instead of through the headers. My sparks would eat cables.;)

i run motion pro without much hassle. I have heard the Terry cable makes great cables, but no personal experience.

Does it still pull easy running that way??

I've had no problems with my motion pro cable.

Yea, the cable is just a lil longer so you can keep it away from the headers. It feels the same as a stock cable, but feels 100x better than a burnt stock cable

Best cable on the market it the Terminator. Get some heat sheilding at your local auto parts store, The kind drag racers use to protect spark plugs and wires, its pretty cheap and works like a champ if you have a header that is close to your cable.

Do you have a pic of where you ran it?

Here's the way its ran right now. The next time I mess with it I'm going to run it behind the motor mount

Any year 250x/300ex cable will work. We've ran motion pro cables too, but I personally think oem cables feel better

I have a terry cable and I havn't had a problem with it yet. It's much better than the burnt one that my Sparks ate.
