Daniel this is Ross i gave you a call the other night, ill call you this after noon about the swingarm and some other lil parts i need. he might have to work somthing out like the swingarm, chain, front hubs, spindles, and full front brake system, im tryign to get enough parts and use all my extra parts and build a close to stock 400ex to have along with my hybrid. Ill pay cash ans come pick the stuff up so figure me out some kind of good deal this whole Crf thing has pretty much broke me so i dont have alot of extra money around

im pretty sure ill go ahead and get you swingarm for the price you told me over the phone just dont sell it to anyone, i have to wait for my dad to get back and open the safe at his business becasue thats where the rest of my money is (i only have $300 left of what i took out) and i need to get some out before ill have all of it.

btw how do those 250r radiator scoops mount up, on the 400 frame, do you have a pic of them on the quad ?

EDIT: i jsut called my dads secertary to see exactly how much i have so would you take $1300 for the rear shock , link, and swingarm.... thats all i have left:ermm:

You have to have the 250r mounts for the radiator scoops.

My bad Jay, i forgot Daniel told me you were selling his stuff for him, i was thinking it was him, lol. Ill be down there to look at the swingarm, link, rear shock, and those scoops. as soon as i can. When i come ill bring money with me.:D

i think those scoops will work so i might come tomorrow and just get the scoops so i dont have to fab me up any, is there any way to repair the finish, would i use some kind of epoxy or fiberglass filler?????

Hm IDK about the poxy, they are really not that bad, I think they chipped when he wadded it up at cooperland last year, but yeah I'm sure we can figure out something. All of the parts are here at my house so if you are coming I'll see you tommorrow. By the way you would'nt happen to have an extended steering stem for a trx450 would you, we need one for the 12 hour race, we'll do some trading:D my # is 903-277-6446 If you cant get a hold of Daniel you can try me.

Jay im not going to Oak Grove tomorrow. Ill come down there tomorrow about 1pm i have a managers meeting in the morning at work at 10 so if 1pm sounds good ill be down there then if not let me know ill give you call tomrrow and get directions to your place an daniel can meet over there if he wants.

btw maybe the weekend after the 12 hour race, every one can get together and go ride some where that next saturday, like me, zeb, you, Daniel (if he has a bike), super dave, and whoever else you know ...... i want to test mine out good and ive been wanting to go to Oak grove and the weather is getting good

Jay im going riding tomorrow and ill give you a call but i might be down there wednesday just for the swingarm(for the price Daniel gave me on the phone), then ill test it out with my shock setup and if its no good with my shock setup ill be back for the shock and link

only thing is if i come and jsut get the swingarm on wednesday and if it turns out im gonna get the rear shock and link Daniel has to let me have it for the difference of what i was gonna pay for the whole setup he remebers my offer, besides i already spent $300 on his parts he could work with me a little bit and i might take some other stuff off his hands

hey man the frame is an all aluminum work of art, its fro teh 400ex motor and components but you could have it convereted

I'm building a TRX650L right now. I have a 01 400ex w/extra frame and I'm putting a NX-650 in it's the same as a XR-650L motor. I've cut my motor mounts and I'm trying to get the rear end lined up. my swing arm bolt is stuck in the 400s frame so I will be needing a new one before I can go on as I'll have to cut it out. I bought a front head pipe from a xr650l and it looks stock the motor is sitting in the frame and looks very nice. I plan on selling the extras when I'm done. I'm very close to having my TRX650L KONG will live soon.!! I would love to put this on my quad but I don't want them to know what it is.let me know if you can help. I need a 400ex swing arm bolt and rear rotor and NX-650 wiring parts.?? if I knew how to do it. Thanks Chas
