Ok so i just got my shocks back from derisi. He revalved and triple rated my 450r fronts and dual rate and revalved my stock 400ex rear. My question is why is the top spring of my fronts always completely compressed? when i lift the quad to take the weight off the shocks, it only moves about a quarter of and inch. anybody have any ideas about this or could you maybe post a pic of your derisi triple rate 450r shocks? thanks

GT thunder put dual rate springs on mine.

I wonder why Derisi did triple rate, and GT only dual..

its called zero preload. the top spring will always be compressed when their is weight on the shocks.

He is correct this is the same style of setup we use the top spring allows the atv to sit lower.
