CRF450 Motor in 450R 06-07 frame Possible

Ok I am needing a pracitice motor. It seems hard to come about getting a 2007 spare motor. So i have to search for a 2006 model which is the same mounting. Do u know if the CRF450 bike motor bolts right in the 06-07 frames? THey seem easier to find and cheaply priced. Let me know thanks

I don't think that they will bolt right up......the TRX front motor mounts at the bottom and the CRF mounts towards the middle of the motor...if you know what I mean

The dirt bike engine isn't counter ballanced. It will cause a lot more vibration in a quad frame.

they don't shake at all. two of my friends have crf hybrids they r just fine. ps people have been putting them in 4 wheelers for 4-5 years.

You'll be hard pressed to find a 4 stroke that isn't counter balanced....you only have to worry about it with the dirt bike 2 strokes
