400 ex electrical question

I bought a frame and motor off of a friend and many friends have chipped in all the rest of the parts to help finish the quad ( it was all done for a riding buddy of ours that went through some financial problems due to his daughters illness). The last piece I need is the negative battery cable and I've checked everywhere I can to fing a picture of where the negative cable grounds to the frame. Is it on the frame or the subframe? A picture would be nice or a good description. We are giving it to him this weekend so soon would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Mine grounds to the subframe back near the seat latch but I have an aftermarket airbox with the battery in it. I don't know if this is where the stock ground point is. Works fine. I think its great what you are doing for your buddy. Good luck and I hope he likes it.

Thanks for the reply, thats what I started to do but then wanted to check with others to make sure they didn't have any problems.
