Some of you's said in my post about setting a LTR up for motocross about getting my stock suspension revalved... how and where do you go about doing that? is it expensive?...also is it worth the cost?

Getting your shocks revalved is a great thing to do, it doesn't matter if you're a MX'er, Duner, Trail rider or what ever you enjoy.

The stock shocks for the LTR are pretty good, but to get the best performance out of them a revalve and sometimes respring is needed.

There are a few places that do one or the other and even both.

1. GT Thunder does both, Laz knows his stuff when it comes to shocks and rebuilding them.

GT Thunder (http://www.gtthunder.com/LT450R/LT450R.htm)

2. Ishock, does a revalve, I haven't researched if they do springs yet. But that doesn't mean they don't offer it.

iShock (http://www.hydrodynamicsusa.com/products.php)

3. Presicon Concepts, I'm not sure if they offer it yet. I haven't seen anyone speak up about them and I haven't called them myself to see if they do it. (good chance they do).
Presicion Concepts (http://www.precisionconceptsracing.com/html/services.html)

4. Works, you can get a triple rate spring set up through them. I'm not sure if they valve the LTR stock shocks. I haven't called yet.

Some of the companies you have to contact via the phone to find out if they service the LTR 450 shock. I hope these links help

There are a bunch of other companies and Racing shocks manufactures that offer one or both of the services.

The best thing to do is use the "search" on this forum or others dedicated to the LTR 450

Yep, What he said! :D

From everything I have read from rider reviews it makes a world of difference. Personally I'm either going to let iSHock or GT Thunder do mine. It all depends on who impresses me most when I call them as I'm sure they both do great work.

I think iShock charges about $300.00 to valve all 3 shocks. But that does not include a respring.
