anyone own a newer v8 mustang, befor i go off to college im thinking about getting one... any opinions?

They are alot better than the older ones "94-04", those ****ing sucked *** with the exception of the mach 1 and supercharged cobra.

But yeah they make some decent power now...

the 5.4L in the new stang makes more hp than the 5.9L in my dakota. i know that.300=stang. 245=dakota

It's only a 4.6 w/ 300hp... But the 5.4 truck is only 300hp too though but i would guess the truck cams are milder and is overall more detuned...

Ive Ridden in one and wasnt impressed. They are great looking cars though.

well,i just got mine not to long ago and i absoutley love it! i got a 2006 v8 mustang gt,with borla exhaust and k&n intake and it will def give ya whiplash when you get on it,for the person that said it doesnt ride nice is wrong,i mean you can feel bumps here and there but any kinda car like that will ride identical, if you do decide to get one,i would recommend that you get a manaul tranny,it would be pointless to get a automatic in that car,also if you like great sound that upgrade to the shaker 1000 stereo,it has to subs in the in the truck and all the ones in the doors are great,best sounding stereo to ever come with a car from the factory,if i where you i would go test drive one to see how you like it,i know i love mine,here is a pic of mine,if you have any more questions just let me know ill try to answer them the best i can;)

my uncle just bought a 07 Shelby Cobra GT 500. It is definately a nice car and with 500hp you cant go wrong. You need a deep pocket though!!!
