Since I found out the black hardcoating on my Rossier exhaust was starting to discolor Ive been meaning to call them about it.

So I called today and he gave me some options and Im not sure what Im gonna do...

He said that I could wait till he was finished testing other coating styles OR I could send my can back and get a brand new muffler with fresh packing and everything, It would just be polished instead of black.

Would a polished can look as good at my blakc one does on my quad??

I think a polished can would look better.

And now why is the DASA a "real" pipe?? Because it makes like a half HP more then a rossier under perfect conditions??? All big name pipes are so close to each other now thats its just peferance IMO

Peak horsepower, theres about .75hp difference. But in the upper RPM range, the DASA makes about 2 more HP. And I have the dyno graphs to prove it :).

And when you only have a 350lb. quad, every horsepower counts.

Well, lets not turn this into another f**king pipe bashing thread... They are both good pipes I guess. I bought the Rossier and thats all there is too it.

Btw, With most peoples knowledge of jetting and fine tuning they will never be able to make that .75 or 2 hp differance.

Thats what dynos are for.

And...if there jetting is off for the DASA, the probability that their jetting was off for the Rossier as well is high. So the gain is still there.

Not taking anything away from Rossier, just stating the facts.

Lets get this topic back on track and make it known that Rossiers Customer Service is top notch!

CZrider just know that it is in good hands. I don't want to thrash brands either. I just hate when people make comments such as the real pipe one

well well......if you are saying this obviously you have not owned them all. i can not say on the 06 though. i noticed a nice difference from the rossier to the dasa. however, i do a lot of dragging though so everyones riding style is different. the rossier was the weakest out of any of the pipes i owned on the bottom end. then, once you got going it ran pretty good but nothing special.

ok, it was more or less a joke. if you didn't like the comment that is fine. i didn't mean to hurt anyones feelings. on my bike, it was a pretty noticable difference. on the other hand, i do believe rossier has excellent customer service. plus, the build quality of his pipes are really really good.

You might check with pappy or another powder coater if you love the black ... I would not go with a silver you bought a black can for a reason .... But that is VERY kewl of rossier to cover it..

UNLIKE honda which has a recall out for on a bad gear in the kicker and will not stand behind it !! Which is kinda #$%^& of them...
