I want to get rid of my keyswitch and hook up the killswtch to the wires coming from the key. So do I need a normally open or normally closed switch? I would think I would need a normally closed switch but not sure. Also does anybody know what brand makes a closed switch? I thought I read a while back that Pingel made one but they are hard to find.

Good question! Finding a closed to open killswitch might be hard. What you could do is take the keyswitch off and tie the wires together, like your hotwiring it. Then put a killswitch on like normal, attached to the OEM killswitch and grounded to the frame or ground wire. That way you get the desired "no key" look.
