How much do works shocks cost for a 300ex. Don't know
much about 'em but please inform me

its around $540... thats probably the cheapest shock u can buy too :eek: i just blew my shock and im trying to get a works shock. i dont want to spend that much money so im gonna buy it used and if i have to, rebuild it so its like new :D

$540 for just the rear, ouch i think its in the $300's for the front (im not sure if its 300 for each or for both)

You can get a set of front works with no resivoirs for $320 for the set, with resivoirs will cost you about $500. The rear will cost $500

quad trix, u don't even have a set of aftermarket shocks, so don't bash em. i'm sure works would do perfectly fine, esspectially if your not a HUGE mx racer. **** i have rode my stock suspention for all the races i have gone to so far, and i actually go pretty big (55-60 foot doubles) and i have yet to blow my suspention, granted its not like landing on pillows by any means

yup like kicker said if ur not a huge mx'er they will do ya good...but if u plan on comin up short or overshooting stuff not good :eek: their a good economy shock but go with axis or pep if u want the best ride....if u trail ride works rock though.....

yes the shocks (works ) make the landing a lot smother if you land correct, if you have no clue you could baicly bottom out with any shock, i have hit 30 40 footer and other shot, and the way i landed made it feel like nothing ( wasn't a lippy jump, 3rd gear half throttle about 5 feet off the ground) but coming up sohrt is a whole other story
