Opinions wanted.

Hey, I need some opinions. I am trading cash and parts for a motor. The guy lives 8 hours away (16 round trip). He said that he will only ship after he has received payment and parts, i feel that this is unfair and do not want to get screwed over of about 1000 dollars. I think i should give payment, then he send motor, after i receive motor, i ship out the stuff. The stuff i am trading has a value of atleast 450 dollars. What do you think we should do. He is scared of not receiving his stuff and i am scared of not receiving mine. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. He has good feed back on ebay, but i have EXCELLENT feedback on here.

If you cant come to an agreement both of you drive 4 hours and meet in the middle then do the exchange?

too make sure you get the parts go get them your self. He has a good rating so I would prally trust him or you could send half your parts then he sends the engine then you send the other half

I already offered both, he wont do either.
I asked him to meet me and i would pay him to meet me, still said no.

Yea he sounds skethy. I would just go get the engine if you need it that bad
