I recently turned 16 and I have the choice of a New Mustang V6 or a 2003 GMC 2500HD. The mustang would be a fully loaded v6. And the GMC is spotless with a 2 inch lift. They are around the same price. I am kind of leading towards the truck but what do you guys think.

I certainly agree :D Much more potential out of a V8 gas/diesel truck than you will ever see out of the V6 stang ;)

i would say the 2500 that v6 stang would be slow

the 2500 would smoke that stang and you have a bed!

The Mustang V6's are a fun car. I have one. They don't handle all that well(they push pretty bad with hard turning), and they are lacking on power, they're not UNGODLY slow, but definatly underpowered for the type/size of car. You have to know how to drive to do anything half way decent. But they can be fun.

But yeah, I'd definately go with the truck, for sure.

Glad im not the only one... I have a v6 mustang ( got it for dirt cheep) and the thing pushes wicked in the corners. It doesent turn for crap. Mine has ebach lowering springs, the came with them. thot that was why it pushed...

Over all, IMO the cars sucks. lol. I got it for cheep and fixed it up to sell it. Mine is definetly slow, will barley do diecenet burnouts.

GET THE TRUCK :macho

Yeah, and it doesn't matter whether your on the brakes, on the gas, on nothing....any sudden turn and it pushes hard. And its hard to get it to grab too.

He!!, I think my Jeep Unlimited Rubicon does quick turns better then the Mustang.

You have to learn VERY smooth transitions to corner the Mustang with any speed.

you should think about it do you have a job to pay for gas do you have alot of uses for a truck is it worth the gas prices or would you want to have a car you can pick up girls in i think i would want the truck because i could hual a lot of thing with a dramax
if you have the money go with the truck

im in awe that you asked the question... it wouldnt take me but a second to decide i wanted the truck if the mustang was a GT... but since it is a v6, its not even a question... i personally think anybody getting a v6 mustang (except for those of course who got them for smoking deals) is retarded... i would rather have a 4 cylinder accord than a v6 mustang... and they would probably be about the same speed...

I would much rather have the F-250. I am a ford fan myself. but I got a great deal on the GMC. Gas is not a problem.

skip the 6banger stanger. It's really not worth it unless you are a 16 year old girl (are you?). Get the 2500.

Here is the 1 question to ask yourself, which one will have resell value. In 5 years, your truck will still be worth something... the stang will not. Do yourself a favor and go with the GMC.

the mustang will get a lot better gas mileage. I don't know about where you are but mustangs, espesially the new ones, the chicks go for a lot, even the 6ers. Personally i'd get the truck, but you just gotta weigh the pros and cons. I think the insurance would be a lot more in he truck unless the mustang was brand new.

The only reason I dont want the v8 is because the insurance on that for a 16 yr old is alot. I want the truck because i can do almost anything with it. And i can play in the snow. And yes i am a guy. My p-units are paying for half and I have to pay the rest. Insurance and gas.

If you can afford it i'd say the truck, if moneys an issue the mustang would be the smart choice

You're not kidding about insurance!! I was paying $36xx/year for my 03 cobra, for the past 2 years. I finally sold it, and the insurance payment is a huge load off my back! Check insurance on the 2500 also, you would be surprised how bad they are raping people your age.

If you un hook the front sway bar it helps alot with the pushing. A v6 can be just as faster than a v8. They do go good with some work.

oh, and there is no way you can mess around with a chick in this car. LOL, the back seat is TINY. as a mater of fact, my vw jetta has more room, lol.

You would be suprised but if you actually check the insurance between a v6 and v8 isnt much different. It was only a few dollars difference for me.

I just checked out the insurance on the V6 and they said their is no way I can even afford it. But they will get back to me on the truck.

Im a ford guy myself but id have to say the truck... the 6banger stangs are just any ol regular car......plus a truck with a set of pipes would be much better than anything you could do to the v6 IMO ......like my truck i wasnt gonna take anything below a v8 really and im happy now went to get mail few mins ago and drives wet from snow ...fishtail heaven !!! lets see that in the 6banger

Nice bike. How u like them shocks. I am thinkin about gettin a set of works with rezzies. But I am not sure if they are any good. I want something that will soak up some hard landings. I dont have any pictures of my raptor other than the one in the top corner. I dont know nothing about computers and how to even get my pics on the computer.

I love the raptor. My trans already went in it but luckly the warranty covered all 1200 dollars of it. It runs great on the track and through trails. It definitly holds its own with the 450s.

Last one. 2nd gear broke off a tooth and flew through my engine and punched a hole through my case cover. Hot oil was sprayed all over me. Luckly the tooth didnt hit my leg.

They are ITP Holeshot GNCC's. They are 23's. They are a little skinnier than stock. They handle great on the Track and the trails.
