chain again

i got my new chain and sprockets and i put on the sprockets and i cant get the new chain to fit. i need 1 more link of ajustment and my quad ran out of ajustment on the back by the rear sprocket. wut should i do

You are going to have to take out a link.

Chain is to long, correct?

If so, yes, you'll need to take a link out.

You'll have to grind down two pins on the link thats going to be removed, then seperate the link.

Also, just incase, you don't want to get the chain to fit, with the adjusment fully back. If you do that, you won't be able to adjust it correctly, or readjust once it stretches. In turn, having to take out another link later. So take out two if you have to.

I usually put new chains on with the adjustment set to the middle, or more forward. So I have lots of adjustment available for stretching. Luckily Regina chains don't stretch all that much, so it's not to big of a deal for me.
