Ok. What kind of shocks would best fit me. I dont want something too outragous in price and dont have to be fancy or anything. I mostly ride trails but however I do jump some but not like major air or anything. I ride through creeks too and do some pretty massive hillclimbing. Ohh yeah, I also have just regular stock a-arms. Alright so that being said I just want a nice smooth ride for my riding conditions. What set would be good for this?? Thanks

Go for TCS. There like 650 with out comp. adj and 875 with comp. adj.

450r suspension would be okay for your riding conditions. You can get them for pretty cheap, check eBay.com.

Or if you want Aftermarket then get Works, they're somewhat cheap priced compared to most aftermarket suspension and are good quality.

tcs are badass shocks, but for your riding I would just go with some works, or 450r shocks.

I think you would be very happy with Elka Recreational shocks... for $460 bucks you diffenitly can't go wrong there. There exactly the same shocks as the high end Elka's, they just don't have all the adjustments to them. And you can always add on rezzies later, if you don't want them now.:)

Well then that would make them not like the high end elkas at all...haha

Anyways the elka recs are probably the money best spent here. I would look at getting a set of the rec series fronts, and then have the rear rebuilt/resprung/revalved with an aftermarket linkage and you'll be set.:macho

Go for elka rec series or works rec series. Both are great for trails although I do prefer the elkas. It all depends on what you have to spend. You could probably get the works shocks and have enough left to have your rear shock redone to match for the price of the elkas though.

New works cost $350 elkas cost around $450. Elkas are overall better than works.

450R shocks revalved by GT Thunder.

For $600 (or less - assumes $400 for GT Thunder and $200 for the stock shocks) you get -

Compression adjust

Rebound adjust

Reservoirs

Proper valving for your weight and ride style

Dual rated springs for your ride weight.

Correct ride height
