Hey,

My valves need to be adjusted because they are ticking. Also, I noticed that it is making like a hammering noise in the engine. The said it might be caused by the valves making the rocker arm hit something. Does this sound right? What do YOU think it is?

adjust your valves and see if the hammering goes away. does it have the stock plug in it?

well, i took it for a tune up and they put a new plug in. I only really noticeable the hammering when warmed up.

did they do they valves when you got your tune up? did the hammering start after the tune up or was it there before that?

hammering could be something different...be careful...if you can afford it you might want to have the valvetrain of the quad checked out by a repectable mechanic..

it started before the tune up. WHat would cause a rod to knock?
