I have a 04 300ex. When loading I see gas has spilled out. What could be my problem? Other than wasting what is gettin on the ground.

its just the vent for the carb that leaks out the overflow of the gas

If your lifting it up in the back of a pickup or even maybe loading it using ramps, if you have the front end elevated quite a bit, it will run out the overflow. Turn the gas off, should solve your problem. When I wash mine, I flip it up on the back bar. If I don't turn it off, it will run out and eventually flood it.

I have 90's,250,300 & the 450 - I just got the 300 & it just seemed that when we load onto the truck w/ a ramp Gas is on the ground. I'll try to shut the gas off . We pushed it on. If we ride then the gas would be onwhen loading. thanx - I also saw a post about the float being stuck. The quad runs good. just put 2 new holeshot xcr on the front. Headin down to Breezewood for the weekend.

Mine does the samething. Just turn the gas off so it can't leak anymore then whats in the float bowl. Its normal when your loading it and at weird angles.
