400ex vs 250r?

well i can finally say that my big bro is gonna be riding his 250r soon! hes like be ready to be beaten lol, and I'm like oh no, i'll be wating for you at the finish lol. well not like I'm worried just a curious question. A full piped 250r with an aftermarket crank with 13 tooth front sprocket with 20 inch rear tires from off of my 400ex, vs my stock 400ex, with a 14 tooth front sproket and 18 inch tires, how close would we be throughout all the gears from 1st to 5th? would i get smoked? also will a 13 tooth front sproket + the 18 inch kensda's i have right now be able to pull away from most quads like a stoch banshee, pipe jetted filtered z400, a stock raptor? I just want crazy low end tourque and accel.

i guess you will be faster of the line because of your torq but when that 250r hits the powerband you will eat a **** load of dirt my man

I prolly will get somked when he hits powerband for sure lol, but i jsut cant wait till i get to ride it! I LOVE hitting powerband on a 2-stroke, i go nuts. Hell i might want to make a 400ex 250r hybrid one day, but i doubt i ever will bc i wouldnt be able to race it.. i'll prolly buy a 450r in a few years or make a crf450 hybrid in the next two years theres a good chance. otherwise i'll just mod the heck out of the 400.

Considering you don't even have exhaust, it probably won't even be close.....

Having owned both, I'd say he's gonna smoke (literally) you in a straight line.

On a woods course, I'd say it would be closer.
